The card began as a little bit of a snoozer, but thankfully the main and co-main events delivered big time. I know Wanderlei won’t walk away from MMA, but he should. Going “home” to Japan where he made his name and became “The Axe Murderer” and picking up a big win should have provided closure. It’s clear that Silva isn’t the same fighter, although his chin more than held up against Brian Stann, I NEVER would have thought Silva could have stood in the fire the way he did and take shots from Stann. I wish he would walk away on a high note…But he won’t. Congratulations to @The First Eric and @ GhostSearch (Steve W). Both went 5/6 so the tie breaker will be…Muhammad Ali named some of his fights (beforehand) like Rumble in the Jungle and the Thrilla in Manilla.
