CagePotato.com reported that the OAC did NOT perform pre-fight drug tests on the UFC 129 fighters, even though it is part of their guidelines. According to
UFC Vice President of Government and Regulatory Affairs, Marc Ratner, an unnamed independent lab was hired by the UFC to perform the tests. I am only mentioning this because I saw A LOT of people on twitter questioning the fact that Rory MacDonald had bacne, and belly-to-back suplexed Nate Diaz 3 times in round 3. Before I saw people questioning MacDonald’s strength AND bacne, I wrote off the bacne to his age, Rory is only 21. It’s not impossible that the bacne is just due to his age and stress of being a pro fighter. I’d also like to point out before Rory is labeled a cheater, Nate Diaz had some pretty gross acne on his chest and back as well. As far as the slams, it’s not like MacDonald physically dominated Nate Diaz the entire fight, so I don’t think he was a ‘roided up mainiac running through Diaz. I don’t think there’s any connection between the slams and the bacne, but I guess will see. I’m also wondering why a private company was hired to perform the drug testing instead of the OAC doing it, but I don’t think Zuffa had any under-handed intentions with this situation.

There are probably trying to cover up all the juice GSP is on. LOL I have said this before but I have a theory that GSP is juiced up. I don’t think Rory is but who knows Nate Diaz is way to little to fight at 170. That is probably why it was so easy to handle him I mean I bet Rory had at least 20 pounds on him.
Rory Macdonald did have a lot of bacne … just sayin.

I wrote it off @ first due to his age and all as well but after the last slam I started to wonder. I am sure they all use something at some point in training and most are smart enough to not get caught. Don’t get me wrong I am not taking anything away from any fighter but, sometimes it just makes me wonder. Still, I can’t remember a better night of fights and I for sure can’t wait til memorial weekend!
No one can really say for sure what caused Rory’s bacne but I think people would be surprised to know how many fighters use some type of steroids. Since MMA is such a competitive sport I would guess very few fighters dont use them.
